Terrain Biennial Newburgh 2025 Brings Public Art Into Everyday Spaces Across the City
Terrain Biennial Newburgh 2025, a grassroots public art festival, will transform neighborhoods throughout the City of Newburgh into an open-air exhibition from September 27 through November 15, 2025. Free and accessible to all, the citywide showcase invites residents and visitors alike to encounter contemporary art in unexpected places—front lawns, porches, windows, rooftops, and building facades.
Opening in conjunction with Newburgh OPEN Studios on September 27–28, the exhibition features installations created by artists in collaboration with local residents and businesses. By embedding artwork into everyday environments, Terrain Biennial Newburgh fosters direct connections between artists, hosts, and the broader community.
